Jessica Rosa Espinoza is the Fine Arts Professional Learning Specialist for the Cobb County School District, where she supports and trains teachers on curriculum, instruction and the integration of the arts in classroom learning. Cobb County is a metro-Atlanta area district and one of the largest in the US serving 113,000 students. Jessica has worked in teaching and consulting for various organizations during her career, including Harvard Project Zero, the Alliance Theatre, Young Audiences, Savannah College of Art & Design, ArtsNow Learning, Woodruff Arts Center, GA Tech CEISMC, University of North Georgia, and Cobb Energy Center’s Arts Bridge.
Jessica’s career in education began as a high school theatre teacher and then evolved into entering the first grade classroom teaching in East Harlem NY. She is certified in elementary education, K-12 theatre education and holds a Masters in Education from City College of New York and is currently working towards her Ed. D in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in arts integrated elementary reading instruction.

Jessica is the founder and playwright/ lyricist for DreamBox Theatre, which creates original arts integrated and STEAM musicals for elementary and middle school performers. DreamBox also writes bilingual productions for dual immersion and international communities abroad.

Jessica is passionate about creating and implementing arts education and integration programming for communities. She also loves encouraging and collaborating with adult learners in the field of education. Over her past twelve years in the field of education, she has had the honor of providing professional learning support to educators and artists in 12 school districts and 60+ schools.
